When Courtney & Robert found out they were expectingtheir first baby, they immediately sought out support and education for their pregnancy and birth. Being in the military meant that that they didn't have a present support system or knowledge of the local birth facilities and medical care providers. They were referred to Belly to Cradle through a friend, and arranged their care before the first trimester of their pregnancy was over!
Because they booked so early, they were able to benefit from the ability to ask questions and obtain resources throughout the entirety of their pregnancy. Around the 28 week mark, they began private childbirth classes with Amber. "She met us where we were--figuratively and literally," Robert says. "She had no preconceived assumptions or expectations for what kind of birth we wanted."
Courtney says that making sure they had education and support for their birth was imperative. "Hiring Belly to Cradle was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our pregnancy and birth."
