Doula Care 

The birth of a new baby is life-changing for everyone in the family! Our Sibling & Postpartum Care extend the comfort of Doula Care to your older children during your baby's birth, and to the rest of your family and home after the birth of your baby, ultimately insuring your peace of mind throughout the process.

Sibling
Doula Care

 24/7 On-Call Care for up to two siblings during the birth of your baby, provided by a CPR/BLS certified doula.  Services include light cleaning, food prep, activities, and maintaining your child(ren)'s normal routine for up to 16 hours. May include the care of siblings at your birthplace, and assistance with introducing siblings to your new baby, with prior arrangements. Before your baby arrives, your Sibling Doula will get to know your child(ren) in your home during a 1-2 hour meet-and-greet. During this time, you and your Sibling Doula will identify care goals for your children, arrange the logistics (such as transportation for your children) while your Sibling Doula familiarizes herself with your child(dren)'s daily needs and routines. 

$500, minus 50% nonrefundable deposit

Hourly rate of  $20 per hour after 16 hours.

Postpartum
Doula Care

Mother-Focused Care for the immediate postpartum time-frame that may include: 
  • Cleaning
  • Grocery Pickup & Put Away
  • Meal Prep
  • Breastfeeding Assistance
  • Infant Care (while parents are sleeping)
  • Care for older children 
Daytime (4-hour) shifts are available for morning or evening hours and focus on household tasks, while Overnight (8-hour) shifts are available from 10:00pm-6:00am, and focus on attaining rest for the mother and family. Before your baby arrives, and after you have booked your care, your postpartum doula will meet you at your home for a tour and overview of your expectations and wishes. At the beginning of each shift, your postpartum doula will cover a checklist of items with you to insure your recovery is progressing normally, and to highlight your goals for her shift.

*Twins subject to added $7 per hour.
